Definitely a yes from me!

I once was shot down over London in a Hurri. Bailed out, landed, then ran across the city to my airfield to hop in another aircraft and rejoin the fight. Never could, though - the airfield came under a bombing attack just as I arrived, and I spent the rest of the time dodging bombs! It was awesome!
