In IL-2 1946 the gunsight view is a 3dof view (in contrast to 6dof in normal view) where your head position is fixed, only the orientation can change.
This viewpoint gets toggled using a hotkey (default: Shift+F1).

As for the Ki-43, yes there's more than one, in particular six - and they're all "Oscar"s.
I've checked each of them and in Shift+F1 gunsight view mode, all bullets fly straight to the center of the gunsight. If they don't do the same in your case, then this indicates that you might have a conflicting (cockpit?) mod installed.

No cockpit mods, maybe a issue caused by the POV mod? I may try setting resolution to 2560x1440 (my center screen) vs the 7680x1440 triples and see how it does..

Unrelated.
Neither of the two mods could change anything in that regard.

Thank you for taking the time to do that, I will let you know what happens on my machine, and possibly why.

EDIT: I just tested it in 2560x1440 to eliminate any widescreen distortion possibilities. As you say, in the SHFT-F1 GS view the tracers are centered in the bullseye. If I use the normal cockpit view and decrease my FOV to move closer to the GS with my head and TIR centered all is well. If I move my head the GS will shift and while the bullets trajectory is the same, they show up in the GS off-center. Totally self induced, as I assumed. All good!

The main reason here is the way IL-2 simulates a reflector gunsight.
In reality, a reflector gunsight has an "infinite" focal point and as such, your head position doesn't matter for the position of the reticle drawn on the reflector screen.
In IL-2, the "infinite" focal point is simulated by virtually drawing the reticle at a position far (20 meters or such) upfront of the aircraft, which for any reasonable head position inside the cockpit and for any reasonable FOV is more than sufficient.
If however, you get close enough to the reflector screen and/or manage to narrow your FOV beyond limits, then suddenly the tiny remaining offset becomes visible.
I think it's really just stretching the limits a tad too far and if Shift+F1 cures it, then this probably doesn't justify editing 3D meshes of 200+ cockpits (which would be the alternative solution) individually.

Good afternoon. I just made a flight over the tree tops and I am very pleasantly surprised by this huge progress. Thank you for this hotfix 18 and all its improvements and fixes.
