I'll try later on, but wasn't this Cockpit Frenzy Mod integrated in BAT?

Just did some tests: game loads ok with frenzy in WAW, but only Mk IX's are flyable. Many planes - Mk VcL's - doesn't show up in arming screen and give log file warnings like:

INTERNAL ERROR: Can't open file '3DO/Plane/SpitfireMkVcL(GB)/Equipment_new.msh'
WARNING: object '3DO/Plane/SpitfireMkVcL(GB)/Equipment_new.msh' of class 'SkinTL' not loaded
INTERNAL ERROR: MeshObj: Can't load mesh 3DO/Plane/SpitfireMkVcL(GB)/Equipment_new.msh
WARNING: object '3DO/Plane/SpitfireMkVcL(GB)/hier.him' of class 'HIM' not loaded
INTERNAL ERROR: HierMeshObj: Can't load HIM 3DO/Plane/SpitfireMkVcL(GB)/hier.him
INTERNAL ERROR: HierMeshObj: Can't load HIM 3DO/Plane/SpitfireMkVcL(GB)/hier.him

This only one of many, so there's something more wrong with this mod at the moment.

Version 1.01 is up,
fixes hier.him mishapps, wrong Default Skins on some...

Please uninstall old Folders and drop these fresh in, no copy paste over.

Let's see if there's still sth.

v.1.2 is uploaded, please find a fresh Link in first Post

Please discard earlier Versions, Install this latest.
Had to reposition Cannons on the Malta Breed again.
Should be Okay now, rechecked every Slot Folder in Mesh Dump, hims and ingame.
Still if you trace Urmels or Gremlins trolling up, don't dare to spot.

Hi Tobias, sorry for slow respons but health isnt that good atm. Tried your 1.2 version and some things have improved: all planes are visible in arming screen, but only the Mk IX's function good, so no problem there. Complete range of Vc doesn't show a cockpit, exterior view (F2) is ok, love your 3d work here. There is some 'flashing' along the line where the cowling meets the forward fuselage, all ordnance on the center line seems to float just free from the fuselage, bombload can't be dropped and the lines like 'autopilot is on' are not showing. Ans I personally think its a pity you have used the nephew of Barnseys pilot, I still don't like this unskinnable person. Logfile gives this:

that's not cool. I can't reproduce the Error.
Hummm? No clue, all i can give is senseless farting it works here,
and that flawless, all Pits, Views, Assets, Bombs, Racks, Tanks.
Damagemodels have no clips, no shadow bugs, no FM glitches.

Why are you repeatedly having troubles with my Mods?
It's a bit suspicious. They are foolproof, I dunno what you do there,
you're the Chieftain of your install, the Log says it's fucked up.

When I start my BAT it's all inside, put and running...

Hi Tobias, I don't think that I'm the only one having troubles with your mods. I'm a great fan of your sknis and mods, but both of them are seldom finished in one go. So not completely foolprrof IMHO.
As said the last test was in a vanilla #WAW3 folder, so no other interfering mods.

So after this encouraging message I have run the 4.2 Installer again thereby removing the old #WAW3, run both hotfixes, redownloaded and installed the mod again together with Spitfire VA+VB+VC_BAT Pit Upgrades by Tobias. Activated trough JSGME #NG-CAM 2.0, DEF-SKIES_WAW3, #WAW Spitfire VbTrop2 and MkVc Pit Repair and #WAW_Startup&FullThrottle_Flames_v1. tried this new install with the same result as this morning; the foolproof mod did function as desribed earlier. And logfile as in answer #41.

Now what to do??

I want to recreate the Error, as I don't have it.
In order to knew, we have to trace, and that's where you can Help.


The rest of the Mods are Okay.

In the meanwhile I fix the Hooks for some Bombs, a usual long lasting experience.
Patience is due.
Simply patience.

The rest is as is, no shame or disgrace

Vbtrop2 and MkVc pit repair is your own Cockpit frenzy repacked by  9Ball IIRC, the same as Spitfire trials. Looking at the logfile it seems the game is  seeks a folder Cockpit in the MkVc  that isn't there.
