Hurricane pit

Based on Avala's repaint but with slightly more historical (~'40) instruments- asi now reads mph.

gauge textures are 768 and have tried to keep size down where possible.

have also tried to eliminate/reduce 'crawling' textures

no heir edits or anything fancy so should work with all versions

Which files are for the gunsight itslelf? Could we replace it with the beaufighter's one?

gunsite is avala's repaint of the original

it is possible to change to say the beaufighter one but that would mean hier edits, as well as adding the 8 textures associated with beau gunsite
i deliberately did no heir edits to maintain compatability with both opening and non opening hoods

beaufighter meshes appear to be

OK, and the same gunsight is in the gladiator pit as well. I'm working on getting this gunsight in (with thanks to dFrog's help on this) ;)

Since Avala is here, may I say thanx for this also, one of the nicests repaints in IL2 modding gets improved a little. Much appreciated.

I cut my baby teeth in modding with Avala's repaint and Muas' SeaHurricane. Played with them for weeks and weeks, learning all I could, and sending silly questions to Muas. So this is like seeing an old friend, after a make-over ;D
