This is several versions of the mission and two sample skins, collected in one video.

The drawings show that the fuselage and wings were covered with corrugated sheet metal. In the photos, this is not visible.
Perhaps the poor quality of the photos.

The convoluted fate of this aircraft in the conflicts in China. It flew in the Northern Army, the Manchurian Army and in the armies of various local warlords. It was produced in China as a “Rong type fighter plane.”

One more skin needs to be made.

However, there is one more skin to be made in the colors of the 1933 Manchukuo Air Force.

The production aircraft were designated Ju-20 (Soviet designation Yu-20). The first units were delivered to the seaplane division in Oranienbaum (commander - B.G. Chuhnovsky).
Some drawings show that the floats are covered with corrugated sheet metal and have a different shape. Perhaps this is the Ju A25W version, produced in Russia.
In the Swiss painting, the background for the white letters and numbers is once shown as red, and in other drawings as black. I think that in creating this skin, the red background will be more realistic.

In the photo it looks like the inscription was “Ad Astra per Spinas” and not “Per Aspera Ad Astra” as is generally accepted.

The letters “CH” on the directional rudder do not look like they are painted evenly and symmetrically.

Skuteczny i sterowny samolot, dobrze nadający się do pojedynków powietrznych. Gdyby tak dopracować jeszcze kilka szczegółów.

10 Sopwith Dolphin aircraft arrived in Poland in 1920 as a gift from the British government. The planes arrived by sea to Gdansk in April (the first 6) and May 1920. Originally, the first batch of 6 planes was directed to Lviv (the 3rd Mobile Air Park). In early July, they were sent back to Warsaw. The 6 Dolphin aircraft equipped the 19th Fighter Squadron, which defended Warsaw during the Battle of Warsaw in August 1920. The remaining four were a reserve.

Two planes were lost during the Battle of Warsaw: on August 8, during a combat flight, Lt. Zbigniew Bieniawski was shot down, and on August 14, the plane of cadet pilot Eugeniusz Guttmajer was hit and jumped during landing. A number of aircraft were damaged due to the failure of machine gun synchronizers. By the end of August 1920, only 1 aircraft was operational. After refurbishment, two Sopwith 5F1s were handed over to the 1st Zaporizhzhya Ukrainian Squadron in October 1920, and one was a dispatch aircraft (CWL 21.10) of the Chief of Aviation of the Polish Army Supreme Command. The Dolphins were withdrawn from service in 1921.

Skins coming soon.
