UPDATE, Dec 7, 2021: I've expanded upon the mod by including modded classes that increase the range of 6dof (particularly fore-aft and up-down) and add a pair of red panel lights for night use. This completely supersedes the prior release.

This mod should work with 4.12 and beyond. It addresses four aspects of the Hellcat cockpit (F6F-3 and F6F-5):
1) Includes my own hier.him. It adds the mirror if your existing hier.him does not have the mirror related chunks. And it ensures proper placement of the sight, reticle and reticle mask. If all this is OK already, you won't need this file.
2) Fixes the invisible mirror reflection when using my Mk.8 gun sight.
3) Adds a pair of red panel lights for night use (via the modded class).
4) Increases the range of 6dof movement (via the modded class).

The mirror fix aspect of this mod is for any Hellcat cockpit using the WxTech USN Mk.8 gun sight. The planes fixed here are those using the cockpit folders F6F-3 and F6F-5. If you should have any other Hellcat cockpit folder which uses my Mk. 8 sight, copy Z_Z_MASK.msh in either of the two 'pit folders included here and drop it into your new 'pit folder. They're all the same between planes. (If you want the 3 reticle related files, copy the 3 files from either folder.)
I've discovered that if a reticle mask is seen in superposition with the mirror, that part of the mirror in apparent overlap will be invisible. I've altered my reticle mask accordingly, and now the mirror can be seen in its entirety.

I include the cockpit's hier.him. If currently you already have the mirror, and the mirror attachment is not floating in the air when the canopy is slid back, and the gun sight, reticle and reticle mask are correctly positioned, you will NOT need this hier.him.

I include modded classfiles for the F6F-3 and F6F-5. These classes are not required for the mirror fix. What they do alter:
- Increased the range of 6dof movement, particularly on the fore-aft and up-down axes.
- Added a pair of red panel lights for night use. They toggle on and off with the gauges' green needles and dials.

The Java is included, for use by other modders as a guide to what to do for incorporating like changes to other cockpits. Readable with any text editor (Notepad++ is excellent).
