Let's say your mission is called XXX.
Check your .Properties file for that Mission , found in something like the following path :
IL2WhateverInstall/Missions/Coop/   or
IL2WhateverInstall/Missions/Dogfights   or
IL2WhateverInstall/Missions/Single ( you get the picture )
If it is called XXX.Properties , try renaming it to
XXX_ru.Properties and see if that helps.

Now I'm testing and trying to correct the timing to get a formation instead of a stream (it's pretty hard)
Changing the type for the planes is really just a bit of it

now I have a routine that catches all in these missions in one go. Building that is the hard part;)

Now only testing taxiing for the 1st mission, I'm already in love with these machines roaring up in the parking and rolling out to the runway
It's just that classic immersive feeling that nothing else gives me in il-2 lol
I just can't help with the Memphis Belle theme constantly playing in my head meanwhile

ref the link to my tweaking of the original, I speak to that.  I'm not sure why that happens but my solution was to open the .properties file, select and copy the text (Ctrl-C).  Then go into FMB and paste (Ctrl-V) the text into the Description area the save the mission again.

There might be an easier way to do it so perhaps one of the other experts will chime in.

Edit: Forgot to mention that when I open any mission in FMB, the title and descriptions disappear
Can I prevent it, or I'll have to copy it from the original files?

I don't see that happen. The formatting in the properties seems okay and I can read it in FMB alright.
(I didn't check each and every one)

btw, if you experience a problem there, the best thing is to get to the bottom of it (formatting of the three sections headers in the properties?) and then actually fix it right overall, instead of doing the copy paste work, which is an unnecessary amount of additional work.

Now that we have such sexy B-17s and I had a lot of fun with them in HSFX, I noticed BAT's lacking some good old big heavy bird campaigns over Europe
Looking around on M4T and in the bat section of SAS I found nothing compatible

Ah sorry, your comment slipped past my notice

I have no idea actually
A lot of the skins were included in the Hell's Angels campaign found on M4T
And yet there are even more packs there

Under new B-17s I meant the ones made by Barnesy (complete 3d model overhaul)
