Aleutian Islands & RCAF Squadrons (Skins)
« on: December 15, 2021, 02:32:59 PM »

This request is not something I'm in a hurry to get, but rather a suggestion for any skinner who has a little of spare time on their hands.

Anyway, would anyone be interested in doing some skins for the RCAF squadrons that fought in the Aleutian Islands Campaign? The squadrons and planes involved would be: No 8 Bomber-Reconnaissance Sqd - Bristol Bolingbroke (license-built version of the Bristol Blenheim Mk IV) and No 111 Fighter Sqd - P-40k Kittyhawks.

If anyone is interested, I would be extremely grateful. But just like I said, I'm not in a hurry, so take your time  ;)

Half of the Skins you seek are already skinned. The Kitties.

Emel did almost all existing from source pictures for these Kitties.
In my works you find some he missed as additions. Though not my favoured
Area of interesst. I had sources for more, but this Topic bored me to death.
The 111 are in a fairly good shape for that sideshow Theatre,
the Bolingbrokes or Blenheinis could need skinning.
