Static fish & sea creatures

I figured, since the sea seems a little sterile, might as well liven it up with some eye candies.

I'll only use tropical pelagic schooling fish (such as tuna above), as they are the only ones that can be regularly seen from the air.

Temperate water tend to be murkier, so cold water fish such as salmon or cod can not normally be seen from the air.

Note: for visual enhancement only, they can not be killed.
Yes, you can kill them.

A novel idea, at least when we're through with enemy aircraft during missions we can feed them! :))

Again a novel inclusion to add into IL-2... hope the final product is as good as you want it! :)

What about sharks - this would seem relevant as they
a. can be seen from the air

b. were attracted to the aftermath of naval battles to feed

I love it, it's such small details that matter. Schools of fish, really cool idea

The plan was to include oceanic whitetip sharks. These are common in tropical water, and are notorious for attacking shipwreck victims.

USS Indianapolis

Whale sharks can also easily be seen from the air. In fact, they're the moat easily seen fish in Mexico from vantage points.

Feeding frenzy! Sharks & tunas working a bait ball.

These are meant to represent bigeye scads (Selar crumenophthalmus), the most widespread of tropical bait fish.

Other creatures I'm considering: dorado/mah-mahi

Trevally

And dolphin
