I use transparency for at least the most distant LOD so as to not have trees pop into or out of visibility so 'harshly'. If I employ 4 LODs I will often have transparency in effect for the 3rd one as well, making for a stepped transition on the visibility front.

For those who have less potent computing power, I've removed just about all single palms at Vila, leaving in place only a small number to fill in triangular gaps. This easily doubles the frame rate.

I'll shortly supply an actors.static having this new arrangement, and with the original palm tree covering at Barakoma.

Bump to advise of a link at the top of the first post to an alternative actors.static for less capable computers. I removed just about all of the individual palm trees at Vila, which should about double frame rates there. And I present Barakoma as it is on agracier's original, with many palm trees representing the forest cover.

Bump to advise of the availability of a set of reference images showing taxi routes and parking points for the 5 airfields. Handy for mission builders who don't want to cause interference when placing objects. Link at the top of the first post.

Sounds like you missed the "Display spawn points" available in the standard FMB

If the spawn points do not require to run in unlocked FMB mode in order to be seen, then the mission builder will be missing nothing. Unless I'm misunderstanding something, which is entirely possible.  ;)

Thought the same as  _1SMV_Gitano when I first read reply #15 last night.

By default taxi points are switched off in the FMB but can be switched on by going to display and ticking show spawn points.

As genXgamer wrote, there is an option in FMB that show hardcoded spawn points and taxiways used by AI to help mission builders.

I never cease to be amazed at this version of the map.
The jungle looks amazing. A solid carpet of forest softly covers the mountainous terrain.
Looks realistic in the morning, afternoon and night.
Airfields and additional facilities (the palm plantation objects )are very nicely done.

Many thanks to WxTech for this gift.
Special thanks to Agracier for tireless work in creating new maps.
