graphics ISSUE
« on: August 26, 2022, 07:12:07 AM »

Hu there. I recentlr updated my Radeon RX 580 driver software and since then i noticed i cant set Video options to PREFECT as i always see this.
It happens with ant version of the game, stock or modded, regardless the mod.
I wonder if some of you might know the reason

Many thanks

Now that the driver update caused the issue, how about rolling back that update?

Good afternoon gents. i´m still facing this issue with my Radeon RX 580 4 GB
Aplying this settings didn´t solve it either. https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,9756.msg185327.html#msg185327

I have noticed that if you run the game once under a non working driver, it resets some values in your conf.ini.

So maybe by now it may be a scrambled conf.ini and not the driver itself anymore, unless you redeployed a backup conf.ini.

Yes, that's correct.
Most notably "HardwareShaders=0" is likely to get set in the "[Render_OpenGL]" every time the game has been running with an incompatible driver.
You need to reset this by setting "HardwareShaders=1" after rolling back the driver.
