Great update. Thanks.

What concerns me is this was uploaded to mediafire from mainland China. I will be checking it for any hidden surprises.  Norton anti virus did not pick up anything.

Regards

Mick.

The center of the airframe is now in the antenna area.
Is it possible to move the center to the pilot area?
In default, the center / axis of the airframe almost always coincides with the center of gravity of the aircraft - this allows you to correctly configure the flight model, without adding crutches.  :)
Thank you!

... maybe it's got to do with the centre of gravity, but when mine loses a gear after a hard landing, I get this ...  :-[

:(   MMM .. Version 1.03 in my installation presents problems,  the bombs remain spaced at least 50/70 cm from the respective rack. Here is a preview of the skins I'm preparing.

stanislao,

Very good looking skins.

Regarding the bombs issue you mentioned, have you tried swapping in meshes from the 'Higher bomb racks' folder?

If so, please ignore.  If not,

1) Please backup your v1.03 mod files
2) Go to 3do/Plane/Ro57bis(multi1)/Higher bomb racks folder
3) Copy content inside this folder
4) Back up one level to 3do/Plane/Ro57bis(multi1)/
5) Paste content from 'Higher bomb racks' folder.  Confirm overwrite when prompted

Please try and see whether this helps.

Cheers,

:(   First of all, thank you for trying to help. Unfortunately in my folder / Ro57bis (multi1) (Version 1.03) I don't see any file named "Higher bomb racks" and you have to forgive me it is not clear to me what should be copied and where it should be overwritten. Thanks anyway for your interest

stanislao,

'Higher bomb rack' is a folder but not a single file.  I just re-downloaded from the link in the first post: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,69537.msg757302.html#msg757302
and the folder is there.

Please try navigating into: Ro-57Bis new 3D v1.03/3do/Plane/Ro57bis(multi1) and you should see these folders:

/Higher bomb racks
/Lower bomb racks
/summer
/summer Hi-Def
/summer Stock-Def

Go into the folder 'Higher bomb racks', that is Ro-57Bis new 3D v1.03/3do/Plane/Ro57bis(multi1)/Higher bomb racks

and find the files:

BombRackC.msh
BombRackWL.msh
BombRackWR.msh

Copy them.  Then go up one level back to the folder: Ro-57Bis new 3D v1.03/3do/Plane/Ro57bis(multi1), and paste these files.
Your computer should ask whether you'd like to overwrite.  Confirm yes.

Please see whether this helps.

Cheers,

:-[    But where is my head? I didn't notice the three folders at the top of the file list, I assumed they were from the "summer", "winter" etc series ... I'm really short-sighted! Now thanks to your patience I have successfully overwritten the three files indicated and the bombs have moved to the correct position! I still have a doubt, but why did 101tfs not immediately place them in the right place?
Thanks so much Ben for your help.

P.S. I have just read C. Watson's explanation. The position depends on the different size of the bombs in the Italian weapons package, the two options allow positioning according to the bombs used.

I had a similar question as well when I looked at the folder and experimented with the files.  Thanks to your answer from C. Watson now I understand this better.
