Question for Lars and Von

Hi Guys

In the latest video by "The Sarge", Stabbers Campaign Mission 7.
In the comments section Glenn asks if the the flak over the airfield was an effect or real guns.

Was this a C&C feature? As I would like to create lots of flak without the possibility of aircraft actually being hit.
At the moment I have all guns set to Rookie but there's still a slim chance once in awhile for the reconnaissance aircraft to be hit.

Can you please fill me in.

We use C&C flak burst object. Though it is listed as a Special Effect, the flak is not purely cosmetic. This flak can bring you down but it is not nearly as lethal as many batteries of AA artillery.

read up on it in the C&C manual in BATDOCS. 1km square around it's position, at your altitude.
