Hello There

Noob here: I'm trying to figure out if i can get the b17 campaigns like this: https://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads3&file=details&id=923
or any other b17 campaigns to work with BAT, like in the video-explanation? It's really hard to come by any useful infos that helps a noob get some kind of b17 experience running. I want this so bad since the b17 game from micropose. Any help appreciated, i'm desperate to figure it out since i saw some youtube videos about b17 campaigns, but it seems impossible to get it to run for a normal person ( i mean i have some it-experience, but still seems impossible...)

You should have the patience to read carefully posts and instructions as the one contained in the readme of your beloved campaign:
"Once you have extracted the "Bird Bird HSFX Files.rar" file, place the appropriate version's "Missions" folder into your Il-2 Sturmovik game folder.  The "Big Bird (HSFX)" campaign should end up in path similar to the following (depending upon your installation):  Ubisoft/Il-2 Sturmovik/Missions/Campaign/US/Big_Bird_(HSFX)".

Then launch the game, push button carreer in main screen, select US and your campaign will be  there.

Hello!
No, it means that it probably won't, sorry to say.
BAT has different objects, textures, and so forth from HSFX.

You can check every Campaign with a Tool Vampire Pilot published, I dunno
the Name, wait, ... Il2CampaignValidator1.0
It helps with conversion Tasks, if there are sort of troubles,
I'm no Campaign Whizzard though, but I managed to adapt a lot of old school
stuff, it was so easy, that I found it neat to go deeper and rewrite the Loadouts.

It's no rocket science, get used to the Mission File setup, where the corresponding
.inis, properties reside, adaption since this Tool can't be easier
