Cannot see Poland 1939 Campaign
« on: January 16, 2023, 08:33:08 AM »

Hello.
Recently, i've just installed VP Modpack Beta 1.2, and despite in #SAS there being a Poland1939 map folder, there are no actual September Campaign missions present in the Single or Campaign modes.
How do i fix this? Do i drag the "MAPMOD" files into the "maps" folder in my IL-2 Steam directory?

Maps and missions are independent of one another. Leave that mapmods folder alone!

For whatever reason VP must not have included the Poland campaign or missions in the pack update. You will need to find them, download, and install. You will probably find them here or at M4T.

No need to touch anything in your install, naturally you won't see anything as there are no default static campaigns or single missions for PL in VP pack. You need to download and install yourself the campaign/missions you would like to play. The presence of the map  is just providing you the possibility to proceed with the campaigns once installed.

check these pages as a starting point https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/board,127.0.html to find suitable polish campaigns. You also have the possibility to proceed with the DGen stock polish fighter campaigns but be aware that they are not using the Poland map if I remember well
