Quick Mission error
« on: January 25, 2023, 02:08:26 PM »

After a search, I found a little information but nothing that seemed to help.
I use Quick Mission to set up some basic
parameters to practice on different aircraft but I get an error message using BAT4.1 and I cannot fly the Quick Mission.
Any ideas?

A guess: the error message is "data file corrupt"?

To fix that error, press the "Reset" button in the Quick Mission Builder.

On average, the average average averages, averagely, the average average of all averages.

Thanks.  I'll see if that works

One more necro-thread on a Choctaw question!

I, too, had the "Data file corrupt" message when trying to launch a QMB. Punching "Reset" does do the trick...but also, I discovered the culprit was the "Date" field just above the "Time" field at the lower left of the builder. It said "null" when I was failing to launch missions and getting the "corrupt" message. Click on the field and enter a date. dd.mm.yyyy format. Bang-o! Worked like a dream. As far as I can tell, the date has no bearing on the mission...but somebody with more experience inside the guts of the software might know more about that.
