"WxTech" Thank you as always.

I could not expand the map with my "BAT4.1.3".
I decided to wait and see.
And I have high hopes for the "completed WxTech New Guinea map".

Had a quick fly around Port Moresby, glad to see it is now hilly where as the stock map was billiard table flat.
Would like to see some key landmarks texts added, for example;

Waigani Swamp
Bootless Inlet
Tuaguba Hill
Paga Hill
Basilisk Passage
Hanuabada Village
Mt. Lawes

It looks like you put to good use that photo-mosaic of Buna I sent to you.
Milne Bay is in desperate need of a makeover, especially when that whole area was the only suitable land for an airfield/s and was cut from a Lever Bros. palm plantation.
I'll certainly be editing out the hangars at 7 Mile in my map, inappropriate for 1942.
The ed_m02 map could have all those red dots marking town/villages along the coastline removed.
Possibly look at giving some rivers a discoloured look instead of the ocean blue currently.

I've long pined for a way to be able to have more than one color for water. I'm not aware of any method that could achieve muddy rivers with blue ocean. Outside of the creation of a suitable set of plates to lay down, and which could not really follow the true course without a goodly number of suitable variation.

As noted, a far better pair of ed maps will be created (for FMB and in-flight kneeboard.)

Addition of labels will follow the completion of the landscape.

Coral shallows will be added.

I'll offer an actors.static with at least the stock airfield buildings/objects removed.

I would like to populate airfields with an appropriate, basic foundation of more suitable structures. Not everyone is a diorama maker.  😉  To this end, contributions from more knowledgeable enthusiasts is welcome.

I have a "WxTech" question.

I tried to choose an airplane on the "WIP of Stock New Guinea map" and try to fly it, but when I chose "Play" nothing happened.
What is the cause?

Hi,

Save a mission first, then you can play it from FMB

"1SMV_Gitano" Thank you.

"FMB" cannot be selected to play unless it is saved.
I gave it a name and saved it, but I can't play it.

This behavior is what I do every time I make a video.

Hi RABIZO

If the mission won't save then you are missing an object.

Thank you genXgamer.

It seems that I misplaced the characters to fill in "static".
It was difficult for me as a Japanese person.

But I was able to fly.
appreciate.

RABIZO,
I would be curious know how the map runs for you when you fly at a low altitude near Port Moresby. That's where the greatest variety of texturing is found, and this does have some impact on frame rates for less powerful computers (of which you have said yours qualifies  😉 ).

What would be the best object or objects to ford at least some of the rivers where the tracks/roads cross them? I have not yet added any kinds of 'bridges' to make up for the absence of all those I had to discard.

I have already made a few little alterations in the roads where my rivers made the original placement in some locations look silly. I want to perform more adjustments for terrain reasons, as well as some outstanding river oddities. Might this have negative consequences for existing missions/campaigns?

The village of Kokoda is wildly out of place. Should I move it, or just add a new 'Kokoda' and make the current one practically invisible?

here is report

I flew "Port Moresby".
This is the frame rate in a place where there are many trees.
There were few places below 30.

I tried to fly in a similar place with "Green_Hell".
There were many trees and the drawing felt beautiful, but the frame rate was often below 25.

What impressed me was that the road gradually came into view.
