This MOD adds modified cockpits with a simulation of one of the AN/APS-6 (AN/APS-19) radar modes.

Changed cockpits for:
1. F6F-5N, F4U-5N - historically accurate option for installing a radar screen
2. P-38M - fantasy on the topic of screen installation, added all-round radar cockpit
3. F7F-3N, P-61 - fantasy on the topic of screen installation

Radar control:
Misc 9 button - system on/off
Misc 10 button - ON/OFF output of radar text information about direction to the enemy aircraft

  To install, simply unpack to the BAT root. Cockpit is compatible with versions 4.12.2 - 4.14.1

Just tested this in my BAT install

Coral Sea Essex class scramble QMB map, 00:00 hrs, no icons, no map icons, locked in the cockpit, F6F-5N vs two G4Ms at 750 meters.

From takeoff to landing, I was able to navigate to intercept and then return to the ship on purely the AN/APS-6 readout, and then the YE Hayrake inputs alone. No need to even think about opening the map.

Being able to fly right up on those bombers, getting screen contacts when I had no visual, and then making the intercept and downing both was awesome!

Definitely agree with Gaston, this one deserves BAT addition

I have another refinement for night operations - deck lighting for all aircraft carriers. But unfortunately I don't work out it for BAT - I don't have enough time. If someone undertakes to do this, I will lay out the materials. The most laborious thing is to catch all classes of aircraft carriers and make adjustments there.

Hi, the p-38 m has no pit after putting this in. I tested vanilla and pit is there. Anyone else having issues. I only get the exterior of the plane working or flying but no pit. The corsair and hellcat work though. Any fix? I use BAT 4.2.2

The F-81 would be also a good candidate for these - the right fuselage cockpit was the radar operator seat.

Hi, any update on the p-38M? Like I said, when i put this in the p-38m pit does not show, only eteriro of plane. Bat without it works.
