Translucent airfield ground plate objects

For quite a few years I've used the textures included here for my own stock airfield ground plates, and recently offered them for others to use likewise. But the great disadvantage is that in many instances either imprecise plate alignment or otherwise a more haphazard placement of the plates results in truly ugly overlap, with plates being seen through each other.

For my current WIP New Guinea map project I've created a set of NEW plates using these translucent textures, so that there is no need to worry about the impact on the stock plates.

Here is a set of NEW partially transparent ground runway textures. These are based on the old stock ground plates, but instead of being fully opaque these are semi-transparent, allowing to easily see the underlying airfield terrain texture.Moreover, the color is very much toned down, making them useful on a wide variety of maps. The result is a more blended, natural and organic look, in my opinion.

The first map putting these into use is my recent re-working of the stock New Guinea map, available in this thread:
