I installed BAT 2 days ago and it's amazing.
However i have a few questions mostly related to bombs and guided bombs.
1. I noticed that no matter what settings i apply with the "bomb release mode" and "bomb train amount" buttons, with bobmsight automation ON they are being ignored. No matter what the gunsight drops
all bombs at once. Is this a bug or is it intended?
2. This one is an important one for me. I was extremely happy to see that the 3x Fritz-X Loadout for the HE-177A-3 bomber exists.
Sadly it is inoperable because of the gunsight.
What do i mean by that: In order to use this bomb, in the final stages of the attack you must follow the bomb with your gunsight. You can't do that because for some reason the gunsight freezes in
place.
I looked on the forum for a fix and i found out from a very old post that this may be an old problem and some people think it's intended because the controls for the gunsight overlap with the controls of the bomb. This is
wrong, the guided weapons don't use the "increase SightDistance" and "Decrease SightDistance" controls. The living proof of that is the old but still gold HE-111H12 which can do both no problem.
(The same problem appears with the HS-293.)
Are these bugs, intended or is it from my end. Do you plan to unlock the gunsight for the poor 177 so we can use it with the Fritz-X Loadout pls?
I have BAT with the newest update and hotfix (BAT 4.2.2 and Hotfix 4 for it) with no additional mods, no nothing, clean.
