Found it!

In Canopy.msh we currently have this snippet in the [Faces] section:

213 188 189
213 189 214

0   1   2  //GlassArmor
2   1   3
2   3   4

Add the missing line "214 189 214" as follows (without the comment)

213 188 189
213 189 214
214 189 190  //--------this line was missing!

0   1   2  //GlassArmor
2   1   3
2   3   4

I'll update the archive, immediately...

Having got that little gremlin finally beat down...

Does anyone have any issue with the screwed up reticle mask? Can they move about (via head tracker) enough so as to see the reticle appearing outside the limits of the reflector plate?

As the aircraft maneuvers about and hence causes the illumination angle from the Sun to vary, does the yellow tint of the reflector plate vary to any noticeable degree?

Here's the awful reticle mask. The sight line is overlaid, passing through the reflector plate on the left and terminating at the reticle at the right. The whole reticle mask (in dark black) is high and forward. The near component of the mask is truly bizarre! It has an awfully narrow border, and is comprised of scores of odd-shaped polygons--like a broken tile mosaic--where just a few polys would suffice.

I can't draw a firm conclusion about reticle alignment when the plane is in anything other than a level, coordinated attitude. 😉
