Okay.
So we're still talking about a Steam Game Installation.
As such, the next logical steps would be:
  • Uninstall the game from Steam. Completely. Get rid of it.
  • Open the IL-2 Sturmovik Game folder. FL2070 told you in reply #1 (https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,70586.msg768844.html#msg768844) how to get there.
If that folder exists: Delete it! Completely. Get rid of it.
  • Update your Steam Client.
  • Update your Graphics Drivers.
If you are using an Nvidia Graphics Card, use latest drivers.
If you are using an AMD Graphics Card, use 2021 drivers, e.g. 21.12.1, see https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,69395.0.html
  • Reboot your PC.
  • Start Steam and reinstall IL-2
  • If it still doesn't work, go back to step 1 and follow each step closely 'cause you did something wrong.

If you do what FL told in reply #1, you already have access to the folder.
Just do what he wrote.
Step by step.
It's not that hard. My grandma could do it if she was still alive.

From your screenshot I can see that you don't have a simple client install you have a number of files for the server install so most likely you have a conflict there. As I never used the dedicated server version I am not sure on how to proceed but in my view the best would be to reinstall making sure to have either the dedicated server version or the more common client version.

First of all you have a 14.3.4 version of the game (so not 14.2 or 14.4 or 14.5) however mixed with this I can see that you have some sfs files that have nothing to do with with the stock 14.3.4 client version. You can recognize these .sfs files by the word server inside them.

I suspect that some mix up happened in your downloads and/or patches that you have applied.

To avoid further problems we will try to restore your install by applying the last official  14.3.4 official patch that you can find here: https://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads&get=5324

Download this and install letting the patch overwrite your files.

In this way you should have the correct files.sfs and DT.dll and should be able to launch your game.

let me know if this work
