can any ne tell me where to find the actors.static file please as try8ng to use the  universl static ini checker  but i cant find the actors.static which it keeps asking me to locate  in order to compare it with my static ini

In this case, it is possible that it is a "stock" map... or that the ".static" is not called "actors".
If your game runs with Selector v4 or higher, you will have to extract this card...

To keep thread clean it would be better to continue on the same post I attempted to find the correct actor.static and posted a link for download in the original thread

Actors.static is a file unique to each map, and is present in the same folder where the map's load.ini file resides.


As an aside, is it possible that no actors.static file is needed if a map has zero objects added? Or must it be the case that even for such a totally empty map there has to be an actors.static file present?

In this case vikshloss was looking for the actor.static of the retextured Hawaii map

To answer Glenn's question, to save the map during the map building process one static object has to be added to the map.
