Retextured sandbags

UPDATE #3: May 25, 2023. I made taller versions for the old familiar sandbag objects; the straight wall and the round emplacement. And for the circular emplacement a version of 1.5X larger diameter and having thicker walls was created. I added the ammo boxes back for the round emplacements, and made them a darker, drab olive. For the undamaged versions, collision boxes provide real protection. This archive completely replaces the previous versions. See the included, updated readme file for the new object static.ini entries:

In this view the farther objects of the four triplets are the stock versions. I show the undamaged variants in summer garb and the damaged ones in winter. The middle of the three is the taller model, and the nearer ones are the larger/thicker walled versions. Only for the larger circular emplacement do I make a dedicated dead version; all others use the stock dead version. (I reason this as the damage having cut down the wall significantly.  ;)  )

UPDATE #2: May 19, 2023. Layered on a burlap, or Hessian texture. Now supply the textures in the wall object folder only; the round folder uses those textures also in the wall object's folder. This saves on needless doubling of files. This completely replaces the original.

UPDATE #1, Apr 12, 2023: I forgot to advise to make changes to the static.ini entries so as to have these objects sit properly on sloping ground, instead of making a 'stairstep' appearance. This sloping aspect is clearly seen in the image below. Alter all relevant static.ini entries so that "AlignToLand  1" is present. Some of these entries are duplicate objects, raised up so that they can be stacked to make taller structures (via the "AddHeight" property).

I have altered the included readme file in the archive accordingly, if you have not already downloaded this mod.

These objects are the first sandbag objects introduced many years ago. I find the light yellowish tone and hue to be too bright. Originally I had desired simply to tone them down, then got caught up in retexturing them. After some experiments I eventually struck on the idea of adapting the texture used for the newer ToW sandbag objects, which look to be based on a photo.

These are two base objects, a straight wall and a circular emplacement, in summer and winter flavours.

The original implementation had 3 textures for the undamaged model and 2 textures for the damaged model, to be used by the various LODs. For both models I now offer 6 textures, from 1024 down to 32 pixels.

You can edit a .mat file to utilize whichever texture you wish.

I also tuned the LODs, for more appropriate visibility transitions.

Note that these objects do NOT have collision boxes! This means that they are purely decorative, and do not provide actual protection. I might get around to creating collision boxes, so that they become a real, useful object for the purpose intended.

To make the objects sit properly on sloping ground, and not sit oddly in a 'stair step' arrangement, alter all relevant static.ini entries so that "AlignToLand   1" is present. Here are the related static.ini entries for the stock objects:

Any good reason why Sandbags_Round object has it's ammo boxes omitted in B.A.T. ?
Can understand the wall having ammo boxes omitted but not the round.
Some renaming and I'll have both versions available in B.A.T.

EDIT:   Ammo boxes have been omitted because there are several raised versions in B.A.T.
