copy the link and paste it manually into the web browser or a third party download program like JDownloader
I'm a JDownloader for years so I thought "sure, why not?".
It gets me one step further: JDownloader sees that the file should be 333.80KB in size.
However, it fails to download the file: "File not found."

A Betty has just gone in...

Here's my tweaked version, which has all unique .mat and .tga files, so as to not conflict with any other effects inadvertently.

If you've overwritten my original .mat and .tga files in the Materials folder of my main effect mod with Fly!'s versions, you should copy them from my v1.6 Effect mod's .7z archive and put them all back.

This archive completely replaces Fly's original.

Get Fly!'s adjusted water splash effects here:

https://www.mediafire.com/file/8jevfb7kc816h0y/%25210_Fly%2521_Aircraft_Bomb_Water_Splash.7z/file

From the included readme file:

Fly! water splash effects for aircraft crashes and 250kg/1000kg class bomb bursts, for WxTech's Effects mod pack, adjusted by WxTech

I've renamed the .mat and.tga files so that they will not potentially alter any other effect(s) using my original textures. This ensures that this variation will not conflict in any way with any of my other effects, due to assigning unique textures for these effects.

I've tweaked a couple of the textures (both are identical) so that a hard bottom edge is eliminated.

I've aso adjusted the TextureCoordScale parameter in a couple of .mat files so as to get rid of the faint horizontal lines floating above some textures.

I substituted the waterGeyser texture with my own, due to the way the larger aircraft splash was dominated  by Fly!'s texture.

Make sure this folder resides above my main Effects folder. You will not be replacing any files in my Effects pack.

You can simply rename (with the usual "-" character) the folder(s) whose effects you least like. These three folders are Aircraft, Bomb250 and Bomb1000. If, for instance, you like Fly's aircraft splash, in my main Effects mod you could rename the

  Effects\Explodes\Aircraft

folder to

  Effects\Explodes\-Aircraft

In my own install I have both versions of these three folders present in my main mod, with the selected folder deactivated with a "-" character preceding the name.

The .mat and .tga files in the "Materials" folder are all unique, and could be copied to the same folder in my main Effects mod; no overwriting will occur.

Gunny; I note in your screenshot a number of faint, thin lines oriented more or less horizontally. I thought I had got rid of them with a slight adjustment of the texture useage in some .mat files. I'm wondering now if I overlooked one...

Or are you using the original effects and files?
