Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion
« on: April 19, 2023, 04:26:26 PM »

Hi.
This is a repetition of my request from a few years ago, work on this helicopter was carried out by Lone Wolf, but he disappeared from SAS. Maybe someone will be willing to make this helicopter.

Code: [Select]
Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion - American heavy transport helicopter, three-engine development version of the CH-53 Sea Stallion, a seventh rotor blade has also been added to the helicopter, both the tail and the main rotor are foldable.
The helicopter is designed especially for tasks over sea waters. The power of the drive unit is so selected that the helicopter requires two engines to perform the task. During hovering, amphibious operations, and wherever power is required, the three engines run at reduced power. If one engine fails, the other two automatically switch to rated power and the helicopter can continue its mission.
The helicopter was flown on March 1, 1974 and produced in the years 1980 - 2003.
It is used by US NAVY, USMC, Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.
In 1991, CH-53Es evacuated the US Embassy staff in Mogadishu, in 1995 they picked up a pilot shot down over Bosnia, and since 2001 they have been heavily used during operations in Afghanistan and Iraq for resupply tasks.
