Long time member, never had any issue...until now.
Setup:
- game from Steam, copied everything from the \common folder to another folder "IL2 1946 BAT"
- added WAW 4.0 and patched to 4.2.2.P6 4.2.2 hotfix4 following the instructions to a T
- added DCG
Today I made another vanilla copy and used it for some minutes, trying to understand why I have buffeting and control surface stalling at the easier settings plus power issues, nothing conclusive from it (I know, I know, user error but I can't outclimb a JU88 on a P38J.....).
Returned to BAT, lanched a training video just for fun, and loaded my campaign...and the HUD was in imperial and not metric as before.
I tried to find what was changed, and I noticed I couldn't find the MOD submenu, and no other setting about imperial/metric (oh wait, the icon distances submenu was still in place.....).
I swear I made absolutely no changes from vanilla BAT other than those settings in the submenu, and the conf.ini seems unchanged or at least my changes are still there.
I can reinstall everything, not an issue, I'm just concerned it's a bug in BAT engine and that's why I'm posting this issue.
