Funny lines in CLOD

Anyone know how I can get rid of those lines? (No, not the panel lines on my plane.) Or is that because I have a GTX970

Does this pattern show up on any other plane?

Does the pattern remain fixed to the skin as the model rotates?

Does the pattern become visible only under certain illumination angles?

1. Yes, most that I've flown
2. Nope, the lines slightly shift. They only go away once I zoom out. This is probably low shadow resolution.
3. Yes, as I have never seen a pattern like this during a morning/evening mission

I just realized my shadow resolution is too low. (See the diagonal stripes?)

Anybody know how to increase it?

The shadow resolutions might be part of the game. I'm so used to the clean shadows of 1946.
