Il2 BAT Will not launch anymore as of monday.

It is not DEP this time, I used ReShade for a long time, and it may be the issue here.
The last time the game opened, ReShade was off and the update message for Reshade looked different than it normally does. But thats all I know cause it launches NO LONGER!!

I did try and uninstall reshade btw.
And now when I open the game, I only see the BAT card pop up before it closes. But when it closes, the selector comes into view but it looks grainy for a second. A clue?

So either I can find a way to fix this with some help or I gotta reinstall the whole thing, either way let's figure it out CAUSE I NEED BAT SO BAD!!

I’d start by following the instructions for the initlog here: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,16403.msg626272.html#msg626272

That should create a log file showing what is causing the crash, I’d then include that here so someone can hopefully help you figure out the issue

Just a little tip:
Make a Back-up of your working/tested IL-2 on an other location so if something gets messed up you can just replace the IL-2 Sturmovik folder with your back up with out going trough the whole install and update thing again.

We need the full log, everything there is.

Sorry but that's initlog.lst.

Moreover, now that it's Reshade that triggered the issue, why don't you just remove Reshade?

I do not have a log.lst which might be strange, but I think I fully uninstalled ReShade now. Becaaauuusee...


I put IL2 in dump mode, and when I launch the IL2, after a while, it OPENS!! although its at a very small resolution, and I can't change it or else the game closes out, I can browse the menu and even load a mission too! But I cant control the plane. And it seems reshade is gone cuz there's no update message and no effects. This is a big step!

But back to log.lst I will try and get that for you too.


Update I cant fly the plane cause I got no keybinds!!

Update I set keybinds but no movement still. I notice the P-38s left engine has very low texture. NVM I tested the P51 and I can fly.

Update: I also can watch replays, I notice that textures is low on all planes. Can't pause or move my camera beyond the barriers of the resolution. I will periodically get kicked out of IL2 but It comes back later.
