This time through the debugger the game started, and thenI was able to play one mission. But, when I go through a shortcut on the desktop or open the game in its folder, the game crashes.

Yeah, I have a stock game. I haven't installed any mods or connected any joysticks.

Well then... blame it on the seller.
This shouldn't have happened.
I have no idea how complete, incomplete, broken, whatever... this "Platinum Collection" is and I don't know anyone else using it.

I think that's the main question: What has changed? Because that's what crashes the game now.

Probably before I decided to get myself a new antivirus.

I installed the game a second time, in a different folder. And this game runs successfully as before.
