Hello Mike, thank you very much for this really appreciated.

Will fall out of sky in Air start. Use Auto-pilot to level off.  Be above 500 meters.  Need help with this.

Hello Mike, as far as I know this is normal unless you actually have your throttle forward at the time to give it power, but I might be wrong.  ;)

Usually I do not do airstarts but if I need to doso, say for testing the damage model in a mod, I normally will either have the power full on at start or will just automatically press the auto anyway or press the auto stabilizer and then power up, I think I would more worry if the AI in a mission fell out of the sky but again it is so long since I did any air starts, I always hated them. I know in other sims until you actually grab the stick they normally fly as though using the auto but IL-2 I think not for the pilot controlled aircraft.

There is a SSP in the usual thread.  :)

Take care and be safe.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete.  ;D

Zflyer'
Just tested the Beta in 409modact2.3, DBW1.71 and VPmodpack1.2, No problems, didn't fall
out of the sky in Air start.
1st test: started mission with full throttle set, at mission start engines at power, throttled back.
2nd test: started mission with throttle closed, at mission start engines at idle, powered up, A.O.K.
note:
The A.I. doesn't fall out of the sky on an air start.

A Very Nice Model and Thanks for being able to fly the Kangaroo in 409,410 and 412 ]thumleft[ ]thumleft[
