Thanks Lars, Marcost, Von and all voice talent.

Downloading tomorrow, so I'll be interested in how it sounds.

P.S.   Enjoying the Commonwealth and South African packs, not perfect but still very good and adds something that was previously missing.

Larschance has added 4 additional Alternate RAF speech packs; see first post.

Let me propose for these 4 x GB files the SPEECH names:  B1   B2  B3  and  B4 , and keep also the current GB speech. (tested).

Some existing RAF squadrons, in five series of four squadrons No ..1 to ..4 using corresponding speeches B1 to B4.

Great idea Hubberranz. I  anticipate a time when a mission builder can set different voices for each RAF squadron in a mission or campaign.

Happy new Year! vonofterdingen ! Thank you for your quick response. Glad you like.  ;)

Few notes: - There is a limit to the number of speeches that can be heard at the same time: I tried a lot ( 8 ).
                 - Four can be heard for sure, maybe 5 per side; six probably not.

                 - an edit becomes possible when you have the files: squadron 92 / speech B2 is actually an 'East India' Squadron.
                 - ..therefor you can edit speech = B2 within to speech = CW for instance ( as per reply 7 ).

The new RAF pack is excellent, but is let down by the clicking at the end of each message.
When multiples are strung together I found it too annoying to keep.

Pictured below I've highlighted the unwanted noise at the end.
As I said I do like Jo and Bert so I'm going to tidy each file up.

Thanks genXgamer. I was in two minds about deleting the clicks but one of the human voices I recorded is a retired airline and air force pilot who recommended keeping them as many of the older air forces did not have the 'clean' audio. Obviously, feel free to amend as you like. I believe some players have swapped the voices around as they see fit.

Anyway, I am glad you like the packs. Jo and Bert will be pleased as they are 80 and 98 years old! Bert can no longer see so was pleased to hear that I did a QMB with him as my gunner. We shot down a Sally bomber between us. He misses his flight sim, bless. I am glad he got to fly and win the Schneider Trophy Race which started me off on my production quest with Von a few years ago now.

I would also thank Hubberranz for his interest and comments on this.

One anomoly I found with speech packs is a minor variation in dialogue depending on your computer. e.g. '5 miles to target' sounds on some pcs but not others despite the line being recorded and written correctly. One of those weird computer quirks that occur now and then. Hopefully I got 99 per cent to run smoothly.
