To showcase and give you a chance to test the P-66 in the heat of battle, I have adapted the "what if" mission from my Milne Bay campaign.

April 1942, desperately in need of fighters the Australian Government requested 40 Vultee Vanguard aircraft destined for China be diverted to the RAAF in exchange of P-40E's allocated to Australia for June 1942 (true).

Recommended but strictly optional.

WxTech's More Open Palm Plantation Block (as shown below).
WxTech's Wood Revetments and Masking Nets.
Use setup from my Milne Bay campaign, that being stripped down Green Hell map and replacement Gurney and Turnbull runway plates.

There are two missions available P-66 and P40E with no palm plantation versions of both.

So I installed "00_WxTech_bushy-palms_lo-rez" in a hurry.

Then it got a lot better.

I can carry out the mission now.

Good to hear mate.

The Milne Bay area on this map has always been a bit of a performance killer with all those palm trees and buildings.   Prey no bombs hit that fuel dump.
Luckily the action occurs out over the bay in a 60 aircraft battle.
