those files require java knowledge, which we don't provide in the public forum, unfortunately.
for the most part, it's something you'lll have to figure out yourself... :)....there is info on the net, if you look hard enough... ;)

Thanks again, Pablo,  big improvement for my game experience.
While I still like the default views, engaging different views and angles can be very useful while in landing and dogfight scenarios..and entertaining. :)
Added to all my installs.. ;)

Very handy mod, cheers,

Thorsten aka Tom

Benitomuso, your fix is great, but there is an even greater 6dof mod, at least for me - it's the quasi-6DOF mod (http://allaircraftsimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=26444&start=0), in which the head moves are "automatic", so you don't need to press the mouse buttons. The problem is - it disables the headshake, like original 6DOF. I would not dare to ask you to to repair it, but I would like to ask how can I edit those 1234ABCD1234 weird names files? If nobody will fix it, I wish to try myself - maybe if I compare all those mod files I could do this, but as a newbie in IL-2 I don't know how to open those files.

Maybe at least some pointers for what to seek in the class files - I've already decompiled them. Is there a concrete section responsible for headshake?

Nothing easier than that, "Just place to mods folder? =D"
Buggers me for a month or so to get this working, even in fresh alone 4.101m with latest Modact, no chance, just the simple View as default? "none" version of 6DOF is working. I dll them all, even sneaked up old UP 2.01 and extracted all 6dof related stuff, no success. Have over 10 different 6dof Mods giving me 3dof instead 6. The old 1gb exes, that I had working, no chance. Tried JSGME and manual installations, nothing handy. Manuals, Read Me, Tech Help and related Posts won't help. Conf.ini is fine, as it should be, all files placed and needed replaced. set compatibilility mode, no change. Running out of ideas, do I need a Track IR or free track program to get this working? Asking, hell knows.

Code: [Select]
[rts]
;ProcessAffinityMask=1
mouseUse=2
joyUse=1
trackIRUse=1
DisableIME=0
JoyProfile=0

Is this normal:
00_PAL6DOFNormalMouse<<< here my mouse acts abnormal, if I press mouse buttons l,r,m it's completely locked?!
00_PAL6DOFXYMouse<<< here my mouse acts abnormal, if I press mouse buttons r,m it's completely locked?!
even the old related (Mouse & XY) from UP 2.01 act the same way, so I assume I got them installed right, via JSGME or manually, but sth. prevents 6dof from working

6DOF for 4.10
adapted by Burn, original by sHr
*+~ I have no command set in settings, still here I have default view, mouse acts normal, as per all 6dof Mods, same with the original by shr

Sth. is going on, but not the way intended. I made 3 re-installs, completely, just to have the same ol situation. IL-2 4.101m and SAS Modact 2.72 working, enabling Mods no probs, enabling 6dof, no chance. Sort of incompatible with my rig, joystick or the new Patch? The only solution I see, this won't work, but I'm eager to experiment.

MODS folder is inside your IL2 directory, after you installed the SAS Modact =D

remember, if you have SAS ModAct3, then you dont need this, they are already included in your jsgme.
