« on: December 13, 2023, 01:51:44 AM »

Might be a stupid questions for new players but IL2 1946 can work but mouse disappeared and can't do nothing about it after I changed the width and height in conf.ini.
changed the width and height to 1920 and 1080

A: Wich Graphics card/GPU do you have
B: Are you running the game in DirectX or OpenGL?
C: Do you have anything open in the background?

Here is what your Conf.ini [Window] section should look like:

[window]
width=1920
height=1080
ColourBits=32
DepthBits=24
StencilBits=8
ChangeScreenRes=1
FullScreen=1
DrawIfNotFocused=0
EnableResize=0
EnableClose=1
SaveAspect=0
Use3Renders=0
WideScreenFoV=1
UIColor=0
UIDetail=5
UIBackground=rnd
Use3RendersUI=0

If you got a newer AMD card look here for complete Conf.ini settings and AMD Adrenalin control panel settings:

It's a random problem that has existed for centuries, whatever the version of the game and whatever the pack used.
When you're in the game's main page, just press "Alt+Tab", select the Windows desktop, click on the IL-2 icon in the taskbar to return to the game and the mouse magically reappears.
I hope I've made myself clear, because English is not my favourite language!
