I've done some Black Death track Benchmarks test with Fraps, but there was no significant improvement.

Default WAW 4.2.2HF4
Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
 10367,    145000,  15, 166, 71.497
 10357,    145000,  16, 162, 71.428

Default WAW 4.2.2HF4 with revised classes
Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
 10444,    145000,  16, 167, 72.028
 10421,    145000,  15, 164, 71.869

I have similar results and considering that we have more than a thousand planes in WAW I wouldn't expect that rectifying seven of them would save substantial resources
