Problems with BAT English translation
« on: March 13, 2024, 03:21:46 AM »

Good morning,

Since my WoW BAT transfer copied to an external drive from windows 10
I am having problems playing the program with Windows 11

1- I am unable to keep the planes in flight, they all crash as soon as they take off

2- I tried via the MOD to correct this fault by setting the codes to 0, but nothing changes
     see Print screen in appendix

3- as an amateur I put the automatic pilot control on A

Who can help me?

If you're a non native speaking English User, you can Post a Tech Help in the Foreign Languague Section here in French.

    Special Aircraft Service >
    the SAS Hangar >
    The Lounge >
    Non-English Language Board

https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/board,203.0.html

We have a bunch of French Users willing to help, just be patient until someone finds your Help request there.

We need a complete Logfile from you

read here how to post it correctly
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,49972.0.html
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?action=search2

Go to Quicks/ delete .last.quick file, just to be sure.

I know 2 instances of AI crashing or when using A (AutoPilot)

Can happen on Carrier Missions or when the Map has strange spawnpoint issues
at the desired Scramble T/O point.

Solutions

On Carrier Missions don't use A to Take Off, use Catapults when avail and/or T/O yourself.

Spawnpoint issue (very rare), simply use another T/O point of the Base in FMB and see what it gets.

A third case of all Planes crash instantly when hit Fly fly Button can occure when you
play incompatible Missions in BAT forcebly, or you are using the Quickselection in QMB,
again, here when using outdated (DBW, HSFX, BlaBla...) quick files to load.
The reasons for this can be various, Map related (layout changes) or other changes that affect
playabillity.

Missions must be on pale to BAT, designed for it or converted to run.
Quicks you must be made in BAT exclusively to work best.

If none of the cases is due, we still have your Logfile to look into and track your troubles.

Best wishes
Tobias
