"Two weeks" later...
Version 2 of this mission was completed.
The links were updated in the first post of this thread.
Several changes were made to eliminate the "crash upon the spawn" bug at the standalone bases, to provide more interesting ground/sea targets and to correct AI behaviour.
Now Draken can fly his Mighty Duck!

And land it on the beach as a true amphibian.
List of changes:
- All
standalone floatplane bases have been re-designed. Changed to "Air Spawn always" - to prevent the crash after the spawn on the water.
- Kaneohe NAS moved to another location. "Air Spawn always" as well.
- A new (non-historical) standalone base for J2F Duck was created in Barbers Point Harbor (Oahu). This is to allow the Duck to be deployed close to Ewa - where it was based historically. Only Air Spawn.
- Added moving ships around Blue standalone float bases.
- Added shipping traffic between and around the islands.
- Added road traffic on the islands.
- Changed schedules of the trains on Oahu. Now they should depart with delays from 15 min to 50 min.
- More ground targets on the beaches (look for white smoke).
- Some stationary ships were unsinkable (probably because of location). I either moved them or replaced them with moving ships.
- Flights of SB2U in the first 10 min of the mission tended to mid-air collisions. I changed the flight pattern.
- Small changes in the briefings.
Not changed:
- A missed locomotive (or whole train?) has been reported by one user. I could not replicate this error.
- During a para drop in the online game (only online, not in offline Multiplayer), you can get the message: "
mds drop wrong altitude". It can be ignored since it doesn't affect the drop results - the base can be captured. Probably, you will not get points for the drop...sorry for that.
- No changes in the skin folder.
As always, the feedback is appreciated.
