Looks lovely! I like the way the specular reflections behave due to the high polygon density.

Yep.  Pretty astounding...  The video shows some phenomenal details especially considering the lighting and shading.

no need to register just click on preview site and you will get the latest posts and downloads.

These days all the sites gather as much data as they can through cookies and sell it for big data crunching telegram is just like all the others no saints in this business.

If you live in the EU you will have some limited control but even here "essential cookies" are still there no way to escape

Telegram collects far less data than, for example, anything Google related (including Chrome, Google accounts) or Facebook, etc. Pavel Durov moved to Dubai especially to reduce the amount of pressure on him from state authorities

But the linked channel has no links to download. Carsmaster will probably release the link once the cockpit is finished

Stage of work with the main texture of the converted cockpit of the Yak-3 and Yak-3P.
Since the 3D model uses one main texture and the “pixel rate” for each 3D part is low,
then it was decided to increase the resolution for this texture to 8192x8192 pixels. Other textures used do not require increasing to 8192

Texture 8192x8192 pixels allows you to show more details (cracks, potholes, rubbish)
At the same time, the main DLL of the game is being prepared for release, supporting the use of textures up to
8192x8192 pixels.

The specularity for textures lower down in the cockpit should be reduced in general. Many surfaces could not exhibit glare from the direct reflection of sunlight due to the light path being blocked by the hull, etc. It looks weird to see a shiny reflection that would occur only if the Sun could somehow shine through the plane from below.

More particularly, surfaces down in the 'pit and which do not face upward should have little or no specularity. For them Sun glint would require the plane to be transparent, like Wonder Woman's. ;)

The work is progressing, but unfortunately slowly.

Oil stains and splashes on the sliding part will move along with the moving part. If oil splashes, you can move the lantern (as it was in life) to improve visibility. Bullet holes will also move.

There will be two sights for the pilot to choose from.
