Maybe it has nothing to do with the context of the site. But I made this video to pay homage to my city. "So now you all know where I live...🤣". After much research, stories, testimonies I thought of making this video. Avellino is located just 35km from Salerno, the city where the Avalnche operation took place on 9 September 1943. Unfortunately for it, given its geographical position, it suffered, like other cities and towns in Italy, heavy bombing from both deployments in the field. With this I wanted to remember the victims of those tragic days, and above all the fact that war between peoples does no good to anyone except those who govern them...

Very nice work. I can't imagine what hell it must have been to suffer such destruction from both sides. It does the heart good to see it has returned to be such a beautiful village.

The war... a great thing, a lot of people profit from it, those who manufacture weapons and equipment, ammunition, vehicles and aircraft, and then all the related industries and fuel and then of course the great business of reconstruction not to forget the funeral homes! War is a great thing... a great thing!
