For my own personalized install I have already toned down the leather headrest color on both textures in PhotoShop, mainly to reduce the stronger 'orange' hue.

I also touched pretty near all .mat files, generally halving the specularity (especially when 0.9, which applies to a lot) and limiting Ambient and Diffuse to 1.0. This tones down the shininess to a level I prefer. And this is more important for surfaces which the Sun could never illuminate in such a way as to deliver a specular component, unless the hull were transparent (which in the graphics engine handling, lacking self shadowing, is what is effectively the state of things.)

I also darkened the instrument panels.

... yep, I did the same (https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,72579.msg793357.html#msg793357), and also today replaced the very "dirty" Glass texture (257 Ko) to get a much cleaner canopy glass ...  ;)

... since I couldn't port this cockpit to the G2 Trop version, I am now using the G2 non Trop version even in the MTO where I mainly fly, and yesterday I added the Trop filter mesh files and edited the hier.him accordingly, and since the main difference between the 2 versions was the Trop filter, I now have a G2 with Freddy's cockpit + Trop filter ...  8)

... except of course that the Trop filter flaps don't open/close, since this is a java code thing ...  :-[

That will be next step, as I'll ask my friend Epervier if he can fix that ...  ;)

You need a 4.09 version for the G-2 Trop?

... in fact I'd like my current G-2 Trop from Barnesy's 109 Trop pack (a 4.09 version), to be fitted with Freddy's new G2 cockpit, and of course with the activation of the Trop flaps (closed before take off and landing)

What is the altitude of the airfield?
200 meter airfield will not close.

No thank you. I'm already running Barnesy's 109G-2 Trop for 4.12....Sorry, this(above) comment wasn't for me. I misunderstood !!

I just want to test WxTech's personal modding 109G cockpit.

... in fact it is not linked to the altitude of the airfield, but with the Gear UP/DOWN ...  ;)

When the gear is up after take off, the Trop filter flaps will open, and when the gear is down before landing, the flaps will close the filter intake ...  ;)
