I have been struggling to figure out modding for some time with no success. I would like to install jet age successfully and need help. I am running IL2 1946 version 4.13.4. I installed modact 6.4 to the game, then downloaded the sas engine mod v27  and placed it in my SAS folder. I then downloaded the jet age mod and placed that in the SAS folder. When I go to the IL2 version selector and select jet age followed buy launch, the splashscreen with an IL2 opens, but then the sim will not open and run.

I do not know where I am going wrong or what steps I might be skipping.

engine mod 2.7 is not compatible with 4.13.4 there is a specific version 4.13 compatible
