Installed and worked in the latest BAT for me no problems.  I spent 45 minutes looking around zooming in, checking things out and I have to say... THIS IS GREAT!  I love you building placements and combinations.  I appreciate you working the objects (buildings/tree/plates/walls...etc) in with the textures and not just just scatter shooting them randomly.  Great stuff!!!!!!  I didn't find anything that annoyed me or looked out of place, no trees on runways/taxi ways/hard stands/coming through buildings, roads connected and didn't zig zag all over.  Borneo and Manila were my favorite to explore.  Great! Thanks.

@ Thanks, Geschirr!

Update v3 with misplaced objects removed and Angaur Island repositioned approximately 700 km to the west in maps 42-44' and 45'.

..simple question to Cycle, seing that map_h.tga has remained unchanged:  is Angaur Island an Island fully leveled with the sea?
Sorry that I cannot check this myself at present. :-[

@ Thank you, Piotrek1!

@Hubberranz
No, there is also a hill on my version of Angaur Island, small but nice!

Changes v4:
-----------
Please uninstall first the older versions of the “Phili” and “dlv_Philippines41_45” folders of this map before installing these new, updated folders!
See also Installation text file!

Labuan Airfield was not build by the Japanese, so therefore it is also available in the 41' map.

I overlooked to draw a part of the Road Traffic in the "ed_m0's" for Masbate Island.

Reworked Road Traffic at Mindoro because of missplaced Road parts.

Added new brighter 3D Forrest mask.

Download see first post! Thanks!

It looks like there remains the non forest covered terrain which follows a very specific height contour. It's as though a big sky mower was set to fly at a certain altitude and mow down all forest cover.  ;) The resulting bands of 'clear cutting' look oddly artificial. I'm certain this is an artifact of the original map, which suffered this very issue.

Ok, on some volcanoes you can see these rings without forest cover, but I think it looks pretty realistic in the picture above!

But these strips of forest-free terrain, precisely following a particular range of elevation, are everywhere. They look so odd and unnatural. Like a very particular species of wood borer beetle can live only within a very narrow range of altitude, and we are seeing the results of their thorough destruction.  ;D

Never installed a new map before not sure I did this right...

I have BAT 4.2.2.

Seemed straight forward, but after I fallowed the instructions to install, the maps did show up in the full mission build list of maps, but when I clicked to load them in the FMB they wouldn't load.

I did this:
Code: [Select]
For BAT:
-------
Put the "dlv_Philippines41_45" folder into /#WAW3/MAPMODS/MAPS
and the "Phili" folder into the "/#WAW3/MAPMODS/MAPS/_Tex" folder

Not really sure how to exactly do this:

Code: [Select]
Into the respective all.ini file copy these lines below:

Philippines41'       dlv_Philippines41_45/load_41.ini
Philippines42-44'    dlv_Philippines41_45/load_42_44.ini
Philippines45'       dlv_Philippines41_45/load_45.ini

------------------------------------------------------

I just copied and pasted the text lines:
Philippines41'       dlv_Philippines41_45/load_41.ini
Philippines42-44'    dlv_Philippines41_45/load_42_44.ini
Philippines45'       dlv_Philippines41_45/load_45.ini

... and pasted them into the "all" file in the "Maps" folder where I thought they should go on the list of Asian maps below the other Philippines one.

I didn't see anything else in the instructions for me to do?

Though the main folder of the download is "Philimap_41_45_v4" that has the other folders to move inside, and I'm not sure if I was supposed to put that first main folder somewhere before fallowing the instructions above?

Hello,
This is how it looks in my BAT Install!
When in doubt, remove all installed Folders of this map, check again the all.ini entries and put again a new "dlv_Philippines41_45" and the "Phili" Textures Folder into the
respective BAT Folder.

Hi WW

Reading through your post it seems like you installed the map correctly.
If it still doesn't load after doing what Cycle has suggested then open the console or create a log file.
Maps not loading is usually a case of a missing texture or multiple textures.
