new sound ambience for Harbours and ports

Hi all! I'm trying to create a new sound ambient for ports and harbours with sounds of ship engines and horns. I would like to try changing the wave file in one of the airport sound files but I don't seem to succed. Any Idea? I have plenty of naval sound files to use.
