Interesting, Yaro59... I did not notice it was possible to use this plane taking off from a cruiser's catapult... by the way... it could be interetsing interesting to have a list of ships/submarines having this feature (do also some merchant ships have it, to allow CAM missions ??? and can the Hurricane be used for such missions ???), beside classic aircraft carriers...

 But, Gaston... You made a very good point that it is not possible with this plane and probably any other to launch a cruiser from a catapult. Various visual tricks can be used in the film and I did it. I could not even set this aircraft as a fixed-wing aircraft aboard the cruiser.
I agree with you that it would be great to take off some planes from the catapult.

Both the ship and the plane would need a dedicated hook together with some plane class adaption then catapult.ini parameter etc etc to be able to launch the plane from the ship. I tried recently with another ship/plane combo without success. What you can easily do is to have an airstart close to the ship deck in a mission file to simulate the catapult launch.

Hi Stanislav lately I noticed that from you and Dimon comes to the iL-2 world really amazing stuff I am surprised how it is possible to move 3D models from other games and import them into the il-2 game. I would like to ask is there any modder school for the Il-2 ? I'd like to learn something

   Ciao Tomgeneral, yes you are right, Dimon's garage contains really fantastic things, he imports them with a wise work of adaptation from different simulators, not only from War Thunder, then it is thanks to a finishing work in which a magnificent group of friends participate that finally the models become operational.
There is no modding school, everything comes from passion and from the tiring attempts in facing the pitfalls in the creation of new models. You try and try again asking for advice from the most experienced, without ever demanding help, and always with a lot of humility.
There are still many things coming and so, come on, jump in, choose a sector and start the study.
