Tested in all modules and got it working flawless....only some propellers could have small issues due missing for some planes or different colur for blade tips (this mainly between colors of the 'warnings stripes' between what is painted on the plane skin and what is painted on this mod) but nothing that couldn't be solved by simple editing or adding....

The effect is very realistic for my taste....

Tested flawless without issues.

Tested the 2 planes reported giving issues in the original tread (Fokker D.XXI & G.1) without freezing at full throttle....no full tthrottle smokes on them but this is due a missing hook on the plane that issues with WxTech fantastic work!

Tested in some DOF missions where the AI and the overheating settings are peculiar without issues too....

Tested flawless

Ground positions of the searchlights feel very natural with a glowing of their immediate surroundings.

Light cone out and and inside cockpit very good.

Tested mainly in DOF and got it working flawless , the flak effect is good , well spaced and with good effects....the artillery barrage on the ground is also good and give a credible account of actual artillery action below our wings....lights are also realistic and could be placed also in small villages to make a night flight in peaceful times very attractive....bombs effect of the stream are also good but since the obvious lack of in scenario aircrafts these are most for night fighting....but if this object could be in the future combined with the aimpoint or the triggers it could be useful to simulate also daylight attacks....maybe....

Hi mates!

Today I finish my holiday and my flying activity over adding mods...tomorrow I'll rester to add mods into BAT 4.3....

ATM I have tested DOF module and I can say that it's almost complete....I have only to finish the reorganization and harmonization of the .ini files and some .properties to have all in order and more simple to read and access....

Also a couple of map about WWI has been fixed with unified opening map , more correct worldpos data and with normal (instead of iced) sea and rivers....

As I have done this last step my target is to finish my work dedicated to WWI nations&units addition....

After all 'll be done and stable , if someone like to have the whole work I could share it....

Hi Whiskey Sierra

I've tried to clean up some of the BAT WAW 4.3.0 configuration files (STD/catapults.ini, chief.ini, static.ini, stationary.ini, ships.ini, technics.ini (rockets.ini checked OK) and il8n/plane.properties, ship.ini, (tanks.ini checked OK), technics.properties, vehicle.ini, weapons.properties) to remove duplicates and correct some errors I'd found.

The ships.ini file was a mess, with most ships listed at least twice, if not three or four times, and many gun entries also duplicated.  The Universal Static Checker was used to identify duplicate entries within the static.ini file (there were only about a dozen).

I also edited the air.ini file but more to suit my own needs by reducing the number of entries that I didn't need, so I've not included it here.  The other files I left untouched.

I've uploaded the archive for you to look at and use if you'd like.  From my limited testing they seem to be OK, however, whenever I try to view Ships in the Object Viewer the game displays the dreaded "kaleidoscope" screen and I have to shut it down with the Taskmanager.

Atm I'm working on DOF STD and WWI new units files to finish it and cloes the work on DOF and start with TGA....

DOF ONLY report about:

Next-Generation Sound Engine v20241225 / Next Generation Unified Sound Mod v1.2 by FL2070

Tested ATM only in DOF and got no satisfactory results because this mod isn't developed for this age....

Even if it doesn't give any serious issues (apart some errors in his log...BTW very pleasent to see a well developed mod that act automatically with files substitutions when not finding some kind of sounds or presets for example) the sounds (at my taste) aren't relly good for WWI planes....BAT 4.3 stock ones are a little more suited....

Looking farward to a possible work by the great developer (that I thank for his great work!) FL2070 on it to have DOF sounds too in some future update....

As I'm starting to work on TGA module in the meanwhile I'm editing .ini and .properties files....this made my wondering that I have to start think how indicate in post 1 some specification to allow readers recognize if a mod have issues with a particular BAT module and not for others or if is unnecessary for a particular module only....

For example the last NG-SM for DOF in my last report or like this one because , even if the gear damage mod has been included in BAT anyway the planes that have retractable gears aren't in DOF....

Anyway here my test results:

This mod is an update of the one anyway included in BAT 4.3 because as stated in the original mod treat it include the previous classes (verified the same as in BAT 4.3) plus 9 new....that aren't included in BAT 4.3 , so definitely this is needed....

ATM installed in TGA , WAW and JTW but not in DOF for the absence of involved aircrafts....
