First Post on this forum featuring, our lovely Yellow Jacket
Detroit miss!
This lovely P-51D-10NA  was piloted by Urban L. Drew, who on the 7th of October 1944, became the first USAAF pilot to shoot down two Messerschmitt Me262 jets. Urban was also credited for allegedly taking down the BV-237 Flying boat on a head on strafing run.

Our Second lovely stallion from this post would be the One man Airforce Mustang
Ding Hao!
A lovely P-51B-10NA From the 356th Fighter Squadron/354th Fighter Group, piloted by Major James H. Howard, who on January 11th, 1944, became a one-man army defending a fleet of bombers when all but 3 of his men dived right into the fireworks of Gustavs and Wulffes. Amidst the fury of the fight, Howard would be left alone to defend the flock of Fortresses where he would go on to claim 5 kills. He was also known as one of the few pilots to be credited with the MoH
