Fokker default skin

IL2 BAT 4.2.2

Hi guys
I'm working on a mission which includes the Fokker G1B  twin boomed Dutch fighter.
What I wish to do is access the default skin that is in the game. It's a great skin with green, brown and sandy yellow camouflage and then personalize it.
However the skin in the WAW file is a tga file and Paintshop cannot open it.

Does anybody know where I can get that default dutch skin?

thanks

If you are referring to the default skins of the Fokker G1 aircraft,
you should use the SFS extractor if I remember correctly, but here it is better to leave the field to the more experienced... alternatively try to download the Skinmod package by VP_Media it should be out there somewhere maybe here:

if you like a while ago I released this package just for the Fokker G1:

Have fun brother ;)

you can convert the tga file to bmp or any other format that photoshop will accept. You can use Gimp or IrfanView

Oh Ok thanks I'll try those programs.

I've downloaded about three skin packs for the Fokker G1B and none of them map correctly on the plane.  I guess that at some point in history somebody rebuilt the plane voiding the old skins.

there are slightly different versions of this plane maybe you downloaded skins for a different version. I remember that at the beginning the central part of the fuselage needed a special attention as well as the mapping of the engine nacelles.

Yes I think you're right there are two versions that I know of.  The one I'm working on is the 1938 version but in the air.ini  (and forgive me as I'm going by memory here and I'm not in front of my PC to check) I only found one  Fokker G1, I think there should be a G1A and G1B.  And I think maybe the 1938 version is the G1A.
