Hi, Carsmaster !!

I did a quick test with a new drill and cockpit.

The rainbow color and sun-light transmission phenomenon has disappeared.

I don't know if there's any other problem, but from my point of view, it's a Good fix...

There are 3D models where everything is textured from one huge texture.
In principle, the game doesn't care where to texture the model from, either from 20 textures of 1024 x 1024 pixels, or from one texture of 16386 x 16384 pixels.
The texture of 16386 x 16384 does not take up much more video memory compared to, for example, 20 textures of
1024 x 1024 pixels. Of course, very old computers will not be able to digest and operate the texture of
16386 x 16384. But there are very few such computers left among users.
So in this 3D model of the cockpit, one main texture of 16386 x 16384 pixels is used for beauty.

THIS IS INCREDIBLE.

I can now see aircraft from so far away. Everything is so clear. The best flight sim ever made. I have lost complete interest in IL2 GB etc. This is the real deal.

1 thing that kept me away from playing Il2 1946 was the low visibility. Now all my issues are fixed.
