How to change zbulletholes mat
« on: February 22, 2025, 10:00:29 PM »

The bf 109C's bullet holes in the glass are too small
I tried overwriting them with a new mat containing the right holes but it didn't overwrite even though my mod was loaded higher than ultimate bf 109s v4
Am I suppose to change something in a class?

... a .mat file doesn't contain a texture, it just points to where the needed texture is to be found ...  ;)

... so if it points to the same texture, then the holes will be the same ...  ;)

The bullet holes are typically created as square patches, each containing one of the four textures, placed upon the canopy perspex. Therefore their ultimate size is limited to the sizes of those modeled squares in the mesh.

In your situation, assuming you cannot alter the mesh, you will be limited to playing with the texture, making the holes larger relative to the pattern of cracking surrounding them.
